'It was so good to see you and meet J. It made me so incredibly happy inside to see that he is happy. I can’t put it in words. I just want you to know it gave me hope and hope is everything. Thank you so so much.
Thank you for your time with N. He told me it was wonderful to meet you as ‘even though you’re not autistic, you get it, and that was really helpful’. We really appreciate your input.
Thank you very much for visiting J and for providing strategies and book recommendations to our family and to the school to support him. He mentioned that he enjoyed the conversation and thought you were very nice. Thank you again for your ongoing support.
I enjoyed meeting Paul as he understands my type of autism. He understands that I get really anxious and why. This was nice as people often don’t understand this. I’m looking forward to seeing him again.
K was having a really good day today compared to some other meetings/appointments we have had recently where she has really struggled and not really engaged. I think you did a good job at putting her at ease so thanks!
‘Paul kindly sent over a fact sheet about himself ahead of his session with A which was hugely beneficial and relaxed her ahead of them meeting. A reported that she enjoyed her session with Paul, that she liked him and felt comfortable talking to him. The call I had with him was helpful and informative.
‘Visits from Paul have struck a good balance between listening and providing advice. The advice provided has been tailored to T’s needs, she’s used and found it helpful. This includes setting timer to remind her to go to the toilet and keeping a note of her successes following outings. This is unusual as often she pays lip service to advice and then ignores it! I think the difference is that it’s an autism specific service and more relevant to her than some services.
I just wish to thank you for the wonderful teaching you have provided to our apprentices. Your teaching has provided the Apprentices with a greater understanding of Autism and it has allowed them to have a greater understanding and empathy for the colleagues they work with. We have seen the positive effects this has had within the workplace, with the supported employees that have autism and/or additional learning needs reporting that they are feeling more included in their teams and are gaining more confidence. Once again, I cannot thank you enough for your teaching, it has been much appreciated.
‘Paul has been excellent, he feels like one of our team. He is so supportive of what we are trying to achieve, and willing to share ideas and advice. I know his support has been invaluable to parents. Paul has helped children to understand and accept their diagnosis. He has made them understand their condition and the difficulties school life may pose.
