Paul is committed to identifying and celebrating the strengths of neurodivergent people everywhere. He always seeks to understand each child or adult’s strengths, differences, and individual needs.
He is a qualified teacher with the required enhanced DBS checks. Paul has worked as a teacher for 18 years and as a social worker for 7 years. He has worked alongside many autistic children, young people, and adults. Paul particularly enjoys working with autistic young people who are situational mute or young people with anxiety.
Paul has a wealth of skills and experience in working with individuals, schools, and local authorities. He has transitioned into the independent sector to ensure that the work he delivers is relevant, targeted and bespoke to the needs of individuals, staff and families. His previous experience includes working as an autism advisory teacher for a local authority across primary, secondary and post-16 settings, both in specialist and mainstream schools, up to senior management levels.
